About Halina Harełava
Halina Harełava was born in Minsk, which is the capital city of Belarus. She loved music and studied it at the National Conservatory in Minsk. Her teacher was a famous composer named Dźmitry Smolski. She finished her studies in 1977.
After she graduated, Halina Harełava started teaching at the same Conservatory. She taught students about music theory and how to compose their own music. In 1992, she won a special award called the State Prize of Belarus. She received this award for her amazing musical work called Anno mundis ardentis.
