Stuart played the fiddle and sang, and Roy Watts played the drums.

Hank Flamingo released one album with a major record label in 1994. After that, the band broke up. A few years later, around 2000, Trent Summar started a new band called Trent Summar & The New Row Mob. Philip Wallace, who was the guitarist for Hank Flamingo, also joined this new group.

About Hank Flamingo

Hank Flamingo began in 1989 in Tennessee. Trent Summar, the lead singer, and his friend Eddie Grigg had a farmhouse in Lascassas, Tennessee. They started making music there together. Soon, they teamed up with other musicians and decided to form a band.

The band's name, Hank Flamingo, has a fun story! A friend gave Trent Summar a plastic flamingo as a gift. Trent put it inside the farmhouse next to a picture of famous country singer Hank Williams. That's how they got the name Hank Flamingo.

By 1993, a record company called Giant Records Nashville signed them. This means the company agreed to release their music. Their first album, named Hank Flamingo, came out in 1994. To help promote their album, Hank Flamingo even appeared on the TV show Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

The album included a cover song called "White Lightning", which was originally sung by George Jones. It also had songs written by other famous musicians like John Hiatt and Al Anderson. The first song released from the album was "Baby It's You".

After releasing just one album, Hank Flamingo broke up. Trent Summar then formed his new band, Trent Summar & The New Row Mob, with Philip Wallace.
