Hanna also continued her education in Australia. In 2000, she earned a special degree in Semiotics and Philosophy from the University of Sydney. Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols, and philosophy is about big ideas and how we think.
In 2019, she earned her PhD in Fine Arts, also from the University of Sydney. This means she became an expert in her field!

Books and Exhibitions
In 2007, a book called Notes from the Shed was published. It shares parts of Hanna's personal journal and focuses on how artists get their creative ideas. The book was launched at the University of Sydney.
Hanna also created a special exhibition called "Undertow." This art show explored the journey of Jewish people moving to Australia. It was first shown at the Maitland Regional Art Gallery in New South Wales.
The "Undertow" exhibition then traveled to many other art centers and museums for four years, starting in 2009. It visited places like the Tamworth Regional Art Gallery, the Jewish Museum of Australia in Melbourne, and the Orange Regional Art Gallery.
Art in China
From 2012, Hanna started showing her art in Beijing, China, in addition to her regular exhibitions in Australia. This led to exciting cultural exchange shows.
She exhibited at the Beijing Art Academy in 2012 and the Meijiang International Art Gallery in Tianjin, China, in 2014. She even had an art residency in Zhouzhuang, Shanghai, in 2019. An art residency is when an artist lives and works in a new place for a period, often to get new ideas.
These trips to China inspired Hanna to start her PhD project. Her art for this project, called "Shifting Horizons," came from many research trips to China. This art was also part of a touring exhibition in both Australia and China.
