Hannah Rose Hodson (born September 10, 1991) is an American actress, writer, and poet. She is known for her roles in several popular television shows and movies.

Some of her famous roles include Shameika Wallace in the TV movie The Ron Clark Story and Camille Hawthorne in the drama series Hawthorne. She also appeared in the sci-fi movie Campus Code and the comedy series Happyish.

Early Life and Education

Hannah Hodson was born in San Francisco, California. When she was two years old, her family moved across the country to Brooklyn, New York.

Hodson attended The Beacon School, a high school in New York City, and graduated in 2009. She then went to Hampshire College, where she studied theater and black studies. She graduated from college in 2013.

Acting Career

How She Got Started

Hodson's acting career began in a unique way. She was featured in a Nike Air Jordan commercial directed by the famous filmmaker Spike Lee. Lee was so impressed with her that he cast her in his short film Jesus Children of America. The film was shown at the Venice Film Festival in 2005.

Breakthrough Role

In 2006, Hodson starred in the TNT movie The Ron Clark Story. She played a student named Shameika Wallace. Her performance was so good that she won a Young Artist Award in 2007. This award recognizes talented young actors in the entertainment industry.

From 2009 to 2011, Hodson had a main role in the TNT series Hawthorne. She played Camille Hawthorne, the daughter of the main character, who was played by actress Jada Pinkett-Smith.
