Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert is an exciting concert movie from 2008. It was made by Walt Disney Pictures. This film lets you experience a live concert with both Miley Cyrus and her famous character, Hannah Montana!

The movie was first shown in a special 3D format in theaters. It came out in the United States and Canada for just one week, from February 1 to February 7, 2008. Later, it was released in other countries too. The film was directed by Bruce Hendricks.

After its time in movie theaters, the concert film also premiered on Disney Channel. This happened on July 26, 2008. Lots of people watched it, with about 5.9 million viewers tuning in!

In Movie Theaters

The film started playing in 683 movie theaters on February 1, 2008. During its first weekend, it made an amazing $31.1 million! This made it the most successful movie to open during the Super Bowl weekend.

On DVD and Blu-ray

The movie was released on DVD and Blu-ray in America on August 19. The DVD was a special 2-Disc Extended Edition. It included an 82-minute version of the concert. You could watch it in regular 2D or with special glasses for 3D viewing.

The home video releases also had cool bonus features. These included behind-the-scenes videos with Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers. There was also a sing-along mode! These DVDs and Blu-rays were sold for a limited time only.

On Television

Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert first aired on Disney Channel on July 26, 2008. It was a huge hit, bringing in over 20.6 million viewers! Even though it was a very popular film for the channel, it wasn't counted as a "Disney Channel Original Movie" because it was filmed live and shown in theaters first.

The movie also premiered on Disney Channel Latin America on July 3, 2010. It was part of a special program called "¡Canta Montana!" and had over 19.9 million viewers. Later, it aired on TV3 in Estonia on January 29, 2011, and was watched by over 15.3 million people.

Overall, the concert film was watched by an average of 22.4 million viewers worldwide on Disney Channel. Disney Channel Asia even showed a 3D version first, followed by the 2D version the next day.
