History of Hardingrove
Hardingrove was first settled by members of the Hardin family. Because of this, it was sometimes called "Hardin Grove" a long time ago.
Post Office Days
A post office opened in Hardingrove in 1893. This was a place where people could send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years. However, the post office eventually closed down in 1937. An early person in charge of the post office was Louise Hardin.
