Hardup is found along Hard Up Road. Other roads in the area include Middle Road, River Road, County Line Road, Wildfair Road, and Colquitt-Ford Road.
Natural Features and Waterways
The area has many interesting natural spots. These include Cowan Shoals and two places called Horseshoe Bend. You can also find Reflection Lake and Buzzard Roost Island.
There are several water features too. These include Baptism Pond, Cassidy Pond, Berry Spring, Culpepper Spring, and Double Springs.
Hardup's Past: The Post Office
Long ago, Hardup had its own post office. It opened on February 8, 1889. At that time, about 150 people lived in Hardup. However, the post office closed on October 23, 1890. Its services were then moved to Baconton.
