Hari Bansha Acharya (Nepali: हरिवंश आचार्य) is a famous Nepalese actor, comedian, director, singer, and writer. He is well-known for his amazing acting style. He is part of a super popular comedy team called MaHa Jodi, working with his friend Madan Krishna Shrestha. Many people remember him as Arjun from the 1997 movie Balidaan. He also played "Hari Bahadur" in the TV show Madan Bahadur Hari Bahadur. Hari Bansha Acharya also wrote and acted in the movie Shatru Gatey.

About Hari Bansha Acharya's Life

Hari Bansha Acharya was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, on November 13, 1957. His parents were Homanjaya Acharya and Ganesh Kumari.

He met his first wife, Meera, in 1982. They had two sons, Trilok and Mohit. Sadly, Meera passed away in 2011 due to heart disease. In 2012, he married his second wife, Ramila Pathak.

In 2015, Acharya started The Meera Centre. He named it after his first wife. This center helps young children. It offers health and education services for kids under five years old.

Hari Bansha Acharya started his career early. In 1974, he performed on Radio Nepal. This was the only radio station in Nepal at that time. In 1975, he joined Rastriya Naach Ghar. This is a national theater.

He worked in entertainment for about six years. Then, he teamed up with Madan Krishna Shrestha. Together, they formed the famous MAHA Jodi.

Acharya has acted in many movies. Some of his popular films include Lovipapi, Filim, Rajamati, Silu, and Balidaan. His acting in Balidaan is considered one of his best. He also starred in Je Bho Ramrai bho and Tah ta Sarhai Bigris Ni Badri.

He is also known for his funny TV shows. These include Lal Purja, Pandra Gatay, Bhakunde Bhoot, and Series of Hari Bahadur and Madan Bahadur. Other popular shows are 50/50 and Dashain ko Chyangra. These shows are still loved by Nepalese people.

In 2017, Acharya and Shrestha starred in Satru Gate. Hari Bansha Acharya wrote the story for this movie. It was a big success and earned a lot of money.

Hari Bansha Acharya and his comedy partner are also active in social work. They played a big part in the April Uprising in Nepal. This event led to the end of the monarchy. Many people even thought they should become the country's leaders.
