Hari Bansha Acharya (Nepali: हरिवंश आचार्य) is a famous actor, comedian, singer, and writer from Nepal. He is very well-known for his acting style, where he deeply becomes the character he is playing.
He is one half of the popular comedy team MaHa Jodi. His partner is another famous artist, Madan Krishna Shrestha. Many people remember him for his powerful role as Arjun in the movie Balidaan and as the character "Hari Bahadur" in the TV series Madan Bahadur Hari Bahadur. He also wrote and acted in the hit movie Shatru Gate.

Personal Life and Family
Hari Bansha Acharya was born on November 13, 1957, in Kathmandu, Nepal. His parents were Homanjaya Acharya and Ganesh Kumari.
He was married to his first wife, Meera, and they had two sons, Trilok and Mohit. Sadly, Meera passed away in 2011. In her memory, Acharya started The Meera Centre in 2015. This center helps young children with their health and education. In 2012, he married his second wife, Ramila Pathak.
Career as an Entertainer
Acharya's journey in entertainment began in 1974 on Radio Nepal, which was the only radio station in the country at that time. He worked in entertainment for about six years before he teamed up with Madan Krishna Shrestha. Together, they became the "MaHa Jodi," one of Nepal's most beloved comedy duos.

After 17 years, he and Shrestha starred together again in the 2018 movie Shatru Gate. Acharya wrote the story for this comedy film, which became a huge success and one of the highest-earning Nepali movies.

Acharya and Shrestha are not just entertainers; they are also active in social issues. They were known for supporting the pro-democracy movement in Nepal in 2006.
