What is an Unincorporated Community?

An unincorporated community like Harmony is a place where people live close together, but it doesn't have its own city government. This means there isn't a mayor or city council just for Harmony. Instead, the county government, which is for all of Atoka County, helps manage things like roads and services for Harmony. It's a way for people to live in a community without all the rules and taxes of a formal town.

Keeping Harmony Safe

The Harmony volunteer fire department is well-equipped and well-trained. As of late 2020, they have five fire trucks ready for action.
