Harry A. Davis (born January 27, 1957) is a former American basketball player. He played for two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs teams.

Early Life and College Career
Harry Davis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to Cathedral Latin High School. After high school, he played college basketball at Florida State University. He played for the Florida State Seminoles from 1974 to 1978.
College Achievements
During his time at Florida State, Harry Davis was a great player. He scored a total of 1,514 points in his college career. He averaged about 14 points and almost 7 rebounds per game.
His best season was 1977–78. In that year, he averaged 19.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He was even named co-Player of the Year for the Metro Conference. He shared this honor with Rick Wilson from Louisville. Harry also helped his team reach the NCAA tournament in 1978.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Harry Davis was chosen in the 1978 NBA draft. His hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, picked him in the second round. He was the 33rd player chosen overall.
Time in the NBA
Harry played one season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played in 40 games and scored about 4 points per game. The next season, he left the Cavaliers. However, he later signed a short contract with the San Antonio Spurs. He played 4 more games in the NBA with the Spurs.
Playing in Other Leagues
After his time in the NBA, Harry Davis continued to play basketball. He played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) until 1985. He was a top scorer in the CBA in 1981 and 1982, especially for the Atlantic City Hi-Rollers. Harry also played basketball in Europe for a while.

In 1998, Harry Davis was honored for his achievements. He was inducted into the Florida State University athletic Hall of Fame. This shows how important he was to his college team.
