Harry Kincannon (born July 26, 1909 – died October 21, 1965) was an amazing baseball player. People often called him "Tin Can." He was a pitcher in the Negro Leagues during the 1930s.
Harry was born in Northfork, West Virginia. He became a professional baseball player in 1931. He played for several teams during his career.

Harry Kincannon started his professional baseball career in 1931. He joined the Pittsburgh Crawfords, a famous team in the Negro Leagues. He played with them for six seasons.
Playing in the Negro Leagues
The Negro Leagues were baseball leagues for African-American players. This was a time when Black players were not allowed to play in Major League Baseball. The Negro Leagues had many incredibly talented players. Harry Kincannon was one of them.
All-Star Recognition
In 1934, Harry was chosen for a very special game. It was called the East–West All-Star Game. This game featured the best players from different Negro League teams. Being selected showed that Harry was one of the top pitchers.
