Hedieh Tehrani started her acting career in the mid-1990s. Before her first big role, she was offered parts in a few movies but decided not to take them. For example, she was asked to act in The Fateful Day and Leila, but she turned them down.
Her first movie role was in a film called The King. This movie was directed by Masoud Kimiai, a well-known Iranian director. After this, she quickly became a popular actress in Iran.
