Hedieh Tehrani (born June 25, 1972) is a famous actress from Iran. She is well-known for playing strong, serious, and sometimes mysterious female characters in her movies. She has won many important awards for her acting, including two Crystal Simorghs and four Hafez Awards. These are some of the biggest awards in Iranian cinema!

Her Acting Journey
Hedieh Tehrani started her acting career in 1996. Before her first big role, she was offered parts in a few movies but decided not to take them.
The first director who successfully got her to act in a film was Masoud Kimiai. She starred in his movie The King in 1997. This was the start of her successful journey in the film world.
Her Love for Animals
Hedieh Tehrani cares a lot about animals. In 2016, she took part in a gathering in Tehran to support animal rights. This protest happened because some street dogs were being removed due to too many of them. Hedieh wanted to speak up for these animals. Many people supported her efforts to protect animals.
