Helen grew up in Blandford, Dorset. She went to Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth. After school, she moved to Paris, France. There, she studied sculpture with a famous artist named Antoine Bourdelle.

Her Art and Exhibitions

Helen created many sculptures. She also made group compositions. Her art often showed the theme of motherhood. She showed her work in many places. These included the Royal Academy in London. She also exhibited with the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Other places were the Society of Women Artists, the Leicester Galleries, and the Goupil Gallery. This was between World War I and World War II.

Helen's art was also shown in America. She exhibited in Paris, France, too. Her work was seen at the Salon des Artistes Francais and the Salon d'Automne.
