Interstate 15, a major highway, runs along the western edge of Helena Valley Northeast. You can get to the area from Exit 200, which is East Lincoln Road. This exit is about 10 miles (16 kilometers) north of downtown Helena.

Lakes and Waterways
Right in the middle of Helena Valley Northeast, you'll find Lake Helena. This lake is connected to Hauser Lake, which is a larger lake formed on the Missouri River. Lake Helena connects to Hauser Lake through a stream called Prickly Pear Creek. All these waterways are important parts of the local environment.
