Rosilla is a unique plant from the daisy family. It is known for its interesting flower heads. Unlike many other plants in its group, its central flower part is shaped like a ball. This makes it stand out.
What Does Rosilla Look Like?
Rosilla can be an annual or perennial herb. This means it can live for just one year or for many years. It can grow quite tall, sometimes up to 160 centimeters (about 5 feet). Other times, it stays much smaller.
Stems and Leaves
Most of the plant's leaves grow near the bottom. The stems of the rosilla plant are special. They have thin, flat parts that run down their sides. These are called "wings."
Unique Flowers
One rosilla plant can grow up to 30 flower heads. These heads grow in a branched pattern. The center part of the flower head is very round, almost like a sphere. This is different from most other plants in the Helenium group, which have cone-shaped centers.
