Helensburgh is a lovely suburb located in the city of Dunedin, New Zealand. It's found to the northwest of the city center. Imagine it as a neighborhood that's a bit quieter, sitting just outside the main hustle and bustle of the city.
Helensburgh is right next to Wakari on its south side and Halfway Bush to its west. The area has many small, winding streets called crescents. These streets branch off Helensburgh Road and Wakari Road. It can be a bit confusing because Helensburgh Road is mostly in Wakari, and Wakari Road is mostly in Helensburgh! Wakari Road is a long, straight road that feels a bit like the countryside. It connects to Glenleith and passes by the forests around Ross Creek Reservoir. On the northeast side of Helensburgh, you'll find the Balmacewen Golf Course, a big green space perfect for golf lovers.
