Henderson is a small place in Rush County, Indiana, in the United States. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Jackson Township.
History of Henderson
Henderson was started a long time ago, in the year 1890. It was founded by a person named Ida M. Henderson.
When Henderson was first created, it had its own post office. This post office opened in 1890, the same year the community was founded. However, it didn't stay open for very long. The post office closed down in 1903.
