Henry Cluney was born on August 4, 1957. He is a talented guitarist from Northern Ireland. He is best known for being a founding member of the famous punk rock band, Stiff Little Fingers.

Early Music Career
Henry Cluney started his music journey in 1977. He joined a band called Highway Star. Soon after, this band changed its name to Stiff Little Fingers. Henry played guitar in this group. He also helped write many songs for their first four albums. Sometimes, he even sang lead vocals on the songs he wrote.
The band became very popular. However, in 1983, the lead singer, Jake Burns, decided to end the group. Henry Cluney stayed with the band until then.
After Stiff Little Fingers
After the band broke up, Henry went back to Belfast. For five years, he taught people how to play the guitar. He kept his love for music alive.
In 1987, Stiff Little Fingers decided to get back together! Henry Cluney rejoined his bandmates. He played with them until 1993, when he left the group.
Life in the United States
In 1997, Henry Cluney moved to Rochester, Minnesota, in the United States. He continued to play music there. He joined several local rock bands. This kept him busy with his guitar playing.
New Projects and Tours
Henry Cluney is always working on new things. In 2008 and 2009, he finished making a full-length film. In 2009, he went on tour in the UK. This was his first big tour in 15 years! He opened shows for well-known bands like The Damned and The Alarm.
He continued to tour for the next two years. He performed as a solo artist. In 2013, he started a new band called XSLF. He formed this band with his old bandmate, Jim Reilly, and a friend named Ave Tsarion.
Current Life
Today, Henry Cluney lives in Rochester, Minnesota, with his wife, Carol. He still tours often. He travels across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe. He often tours with his nephew, David Cluney, who also plays the guitar.
