Henry Charles James (born July 29, 1965) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played as a small forward and was known for his scoring ability. Henry James played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for parts of seven seasons. He also played in several other basketball leagues around the world.
Playing in the NBA
Henry James was 6 feet 8 inches tall, making him a strong player. He signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1990–91 season. In 37 games, he averaged 8.1 points per game for the Cavaliers.
He played for six other NBA teams during his career. These teams included the Utah Jazz, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, and Atlanta Hawks.
One memorable moment was during the 1996–97 season. While playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Henry James made seven three-pointers in a single quarter. This was a record at the time.
