Hepburn, Ohio facts for kids
Hepburn is a small, unincorporated community located in northern Dudley Township, within Hardin County, Ohio, United States. An unincorporated community is a place that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town. Hepburn is found where County Roads 144 and 227 cross. It is about 7.5 miles (12 km) east of Kenton, which is the main city and county seat of Hardin County. The Scioto River flows along the southern edge of the community. Residents of Hepburn receive their mail through the Kenton post office.
What is Hepburn's History?
Hepburn was first planned and settled in 1882. A post office was opened in Hepburn in 1884. This post office served the community for many years. However, it eventually closed its doors in 1948.
