Hera Björk Þórhallsdóttir (born March 29, 1972) is a talented singer from Iceland. She is well-known for representing her country in the big Eurovision Song Contest twice. She also won an important music award at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile.

Hera Björk's Music Journey
Hera Björk started her music career in 1986. She has released several albums and singles over the years. Her music often features strong vocals and catchy melodies.
First Eurovision Appearance (2010)
Hera Björk first represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. This huge music competition brings together singers from many countries. Her song was called "Je ne sais quoi". She performed very well and finished 19th in the final. This was a big moment for her career.
Winning in Chile (2013)
In 2013, Hera Björk traveled to Chile for the Viña del Mar International Song Festival. This is another major music event. She performed her song "Because You Can". She won the "Best Song" category, which was a fantastic achievement.
Second Eurovision Appearance (2024)
Years later, in 2024, Hera Björk had another chance to go to Eurovision. She entered the Icelandic national competition, Söngvakeppnin 2024. Her song was "Við förum hærra," which also has an English version called "Scared of Heights". She won the national final with the English version.
She then represented Iceland again in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Sadly, she did not make it past the first semi-final. She finished 15th out of 15 acts in her semi-final with 3 points. Even so, representing her country twice at Eurovision is a great accomplishment.
