Life in Wittenberg

After the year 1553, Finck lived in Wittenberg. There, he worked as an organist, playing music for the church and other events. In 1555, he published a collection of songs specially written for weddings.

Finck also studied at Wittenberg University. He started teaching at the university in 1554. By 1557, he became the official organist there.

His Famous Music Book
