Hervé Tullet (born June 29, 1958) is a super creative French artist. He writes and illustrates amazing books for kids. He has made over 80 books! His famous book, Press Here, was so popular it stayed on The New York Times Best Seller list for more than four years.

About Hervé Tullet
Hervé Tullet was born in Avranches, France, on June 29, 1958. He studied illustration and visual communication. This means he learned how to create pictures and how to share ideas using images. For about ten years, he worked in advertising.
How He Started
In the early 1990s, Hervé began drawing for newspapers. In 1994, he published his first children's book. It was called Comment papa a rencontré maman. Soon after, he started winning awards. In 1998, he won the Non-Fiction Prize. He received it at the Bologna Children's Book Fair for his book Faut pas confondre.
His Unique Books
Hervé Tullet has written over 80 books. These books have been translated into more than 30 languages! His books are special because they don't always tell a story. Instead, they often invite you to follow a path or play along.
Hervé also leads fun workshops. Sometimes, hundreds of people join in! He has held these workshops at famous places. These include the Tate Modern and the Library of Congress. He has also worked at the MOMA and the Guggenheim Museum.
Press Here Success
His biggest hit is the book Press Here. It was first published in France in 2010. It came out in the United States in 2011. This "interactive book" has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. It has been translated into more than 35 languages. Press Here stayed on The New York Times Best Seller list for over four years!
Life in New York
Since 2015, Hervé Tullet has lived in New York City. There, he has created several art shows. These shows were at places like the Invisible Dog Art Center. He also had shows at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
In 2018, Hervé had his first big art show in Korea. It was at the Seoul Arts Center in Seoul.
The Ideal Exhibition
Also in 2018, Hervé launched a cool project. It's called The Ideal Exhibition with Hervé Tullet. This project is all about working together. It shares his art ideas and way of thinking. It includes video workshops. These are like a web series you can watch. It also has a way for people to share their art. It's like a big online art show for everyone!
