Hesham Selim (Arabic: هشام سليم) was an Egyptian actor. He was born on January 27, 1958, and passed away on September 22, 2022. Hesham Selim was the son of Saleh Selim, a famous Egyptian football player and actor. Hesham Selim started acting when he was a child and appeared in many movies and TV shows throughout his life.
Acting Career
Hesham Selim's first acting job was in a movie called Empire M in 1972. In this film, he played the son of the well-known actress Faten Hamama. Even though he started acting young, Hesham Selim focused on his education. He did not act again until he finished his studies. He went to Helwan University and studied Tourism.
After graduating, he continued his acting career. Besides acting, he also hosted a TV show. The show was called "Hiwar Al Qahira" and it was shown on Sky News Arabia.
Personal Life
Hesham Selim was married two times. His first wife was Mervat El Nahas. They had three children together. Later, in 2004, he married Nadia Al Ghaleb. Hesham Selim passed away on September 22, 2022. He had been in the hospital for several months before he died.
