Hideomi Yamamoto (山本 英臣, Yamamoto Hideomi, born June 26, 1980) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a defender for the club Ventforet Kofu.

Playing Career
Hideomi Yamamoto was born in Ichikawa, Japan, on June 26, 1980. He started his football journey with the youth team of JEF United Ichihara. In 1999, he joined their main team. This team played in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. He played a few matches in the 2001 season.
In 2003, Yamamoto moved to Ventforet Kofu. At that time, Ventforet Kofu was in the J2 League, the second division. He played many games as a substitute. In 2005, Ventforet Kofu had a fantastic season. They finished in third place and were promoted to the J1 League for the first time in the club's history! From 2006, Yamamoto became a regular player for the team. He often played as a left side-back.
Over the years, Ventforet Kofu moved between the J1 and J2 Leagues. Yamamoto stayed loyal to the team through these changes. From 2010, he started playing in different positions. He often played as a center back or a defensive midfielder. He played these roles for a long time, showing his versatility.
One of his biggest achievements came in 2022. Yamamoto scored the winning penalty kick in the 2022 Emperor's Cup Final. This helped Ventforet Kofu win the Emperor's Cup title. They won the final by 5–4 in a penalty shoot-out.
