Highlights is a popular music group from Sweden. They play a type of music called dansband music. This kind of music is often played for dancing. The band started making music in 2004.

The Band's Journey

Highlights began in 2004. It was started by Andreas Wistrand and Henrik Sethsson. Andreas had been on a TV show called Fame Factory.

The band released their first album in 2005. A big Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, gave it a great review. In 2006, Highlights won an important music award. It was called the Guldklaven award for "Newcomer of the year." This meant they were the best new band.

In 2007, one of their songs became very popular. The song "Varje liten droppe regn" was on the Sverigetoppen chart for 24 weeks. This chart lists the most popular songs in Sweden. That same year, Andreas Wistrand recorded a Christmas song. It was called "Du är det enda jag vill ha." He sang it with Swedish singer Sandra Oxenryd.

Highlights also took part in a TV show called Dansbandskampen. They were on the show in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, the band joined Melodifestivalen. This is a big music contest in Sweden. They performed a song called Come and Get Me Now with another group named MiSt. However, their song did not win the contest.
