Hiromitsu Isogai (礒貝 洋光, Isogai Hiromitsu, born April 19, 1969) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder, a key position on the field. Isogai also had the chance to play for the Japan national team.

Isogai's Club Football Journey
Starting with Gamba Osaka
Hiromitsu Isogai was born in Uki, Japan, on April 19, 1969. After finishing his studies at Tokai University, he joined a professional football team called Gamba Osaka in 1992. He quickly became a regular player for the team. This means he played in most of their games right from his first season.
Moving to Urawa Reds and Retirement
Isogai played for Gamba Osaka for several years. In 1997, he moved to another well-known Japanese club, Urawa Reds. He continued to play there for a short time. Hiromitsu Isogai decided to retire from professional football in July 1998. During his career, he played a total of 135 league games and scored 29 goals.
Playing for Japan's National Team
His Debut and Games
In January 1995, Hiromitsu Isogai was chosen to join the Japan national team. This was a big honor for him. He was part of the team that played in the 1995 King Fahd Cup, which is now known as the FIFA Confederations Cup.
Isogai made his first appearance for Japan on January 6, 1995. This was in a match against the Nigeria team. Just two days later, on January 8, he played another game for Japan. This time, they faced the strong team from Argentina. In total, he played two games for the Japan national team in 1995.
