Hiroyuki Ishida (石田 博行, Ishida Hiroyuki, born August 31, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He was known for his amazing speed and dribbling skills on the field.

Hiroyuki Ishida's Football Journey

Hiroyuki Ishida was born in Yokohama, Japan, on August 31, 1979. When he was just 15 years old, he moved to Brazil in 1995. There, he played for many different football clubs. This experience helped him develop his skills.

Starting in Japan and Singapore

In 1998, Ishida returned to Japan. He joined Shimizu S-Pulse, a club in the top Japanese league, J1 League. He made his first professional appearance on October 24, 1998. This was against Bellmare Hiratsuka. However, he didn't play many matches during his time there.

After a short break, he joined Tokyo Verdy in 2001. But he didn't get to play in any games for them. In June 2001, Ishida decided to move to Singapore. He joined a club called Clementi Khalsa. He played in many matches for them until October 2001.

Playing in Australia and Malaysia

In October 2001, Ishida moved to Australia. He joined a team known as Olympic Sharks, which later became Sydney Olympic. He quickly became a favorite among the fans. People loved his incredible speed and how well he could dribble the ball. He was also known for putting a lot of pressure on the opposing team.

During his time with Sydney Olympic, Ishida helped his team win big titles. They won the NSL (National Soccer League) Championship in the 2001–2002 season. They also finished as NSL Minor Premiership winners and NSL Runners-up in 2002–2003.

Later, he played for Perth Glory in Australia's first A-League season (2005-2006). After that season, he moved to Malaysia. He had a short time playing for Johor FC in Malaysia.

Returning to Japan and Retirement

In 2006, Ishida came back to Japan. He joined Ventforet Kofu, which was also in the J1 League at the time. However, he didn't play any matches for them.

In 2007, he moved to Sagan Tosu, a club in the J2 League. He played there for two seasons. After six months without a club, he joined Fujieda MYFC in the summer of 2009. This club was in the lower Prefectural Leagues.

Ishida played regularly for Fujieda MYFC. He helped the club get promoted to the Regional Leagues in 2010. Then, in 2012, they were promoted again to the Japan Football League. As time went on, he played less often. Hiroyuki Ishida decided to retire from football at the end of the 2013 season.
