Hitchcock is an unincorporated community in Washington Township, Washington County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
History
Hitchcock was named for the local Hitchcock family, including William Hitchcock, who established the first store in the community.
A post office was established at Hitchcock in 1858, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1900.
