Jade Anderson (born January 4, 1984), known as Hollywood Jade, is a Canadian dancer and choreographer. He is well-known for appearing on the TV show Canada's Drag Race.
Early Career and Dance Company
Hollywood Jade started his career as a choreographer for Michelle Ross. He also danced in movies like Save the Last Dance 2, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Turn the Beat Around, Make Your Move, and Hairspray.
In 2011, he started his own dance company. His first show combined hip hop dance with another dance style. He created his company after facing some challenges in his career.
Music Videos and Artistic Direction
Hollywood Jade has worked on music videos for many artists. These include Snoop Dogg, Keshia Chanté, Meghan Trainor, Estelle, Lil Wayne, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Priyanka.
He has also been the main artistic director and choreographer for the singer Jully Black.
Recent Projects
In 2021, Hollywood Jade performed on FreeUp! The Emancipation Day Special. This was a special show for Emancipation Day.
He also choreographed the first-ever performance of Sable Sweetgrass' play Awoowaakii. This play premiered at Theatre Calgary in April 2025.
