Hot Springs is a small town in Sanders County, Montana, United States. It is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. In 2020, about 557 people lived there.
The town started in the 1890s as two smaller settlements called Pineville and Camas. It officially became a town in 1929. Hot Springs was once known as Camas or Camas Hot Springs. This name came from the camas plant, which grows a lot in the area.

Getting Around Hot Springs
Montana Highway 28 is located east of the town. The Hot Springs Airport is a public airport owned by the county. It is about 4 kilometers (2 nautical miles) east of the town center. If you need to fly commercially, the nearest airports are Glacier Park International Airport (about 117 km or 73 miles north) and Missoula Montana Airport (about 114 km or 71 miles south).
Sanders County Transportation offers shuttle vans and buses. These can take you to and from different cities and towns in Sanders, Flathead, and Missoula Counties.
