How to Rock is a fun American sitcom (a comedy show about everyday situations) that aired on Nickelodeon. It ran from February 4 to December 8, 2012. The show stars singer and songwriter Cymphonique Miller. She also sang the theme song for Nickelodeon's Winx Club.
The TV series is based on a book from 2011 called How to Rock Braces and Glasses by Meg Haston. Nickelodeon decided to make the show on May 23, 2011. They planned for 20 episodes, but later increased it to 26. However, two episodes were combined into one special, so 25 episodes actually aired. Filming for the series began in August 2011. It was the first TV sitcom made by Alloy Entertainment.
In August 2012, the show's producer, David M. Israel, confirmed that How to Rock would not return for a second season.

What is How to Rock About?
The story follows Kacey Simon (Cymphonique Miller), who used to be a very popular but sometimes mean girl. Her popularity drops when she has to wear braces and glasses. Her old "perfect" friends, called The Perfs, start ignoring her.
Kacey then finds a new way to express herself through music. She becomes the lead singer of a pop/hip-hop band called Gravity 4. Her new bandmates are Stevie (Lulu Antariksa), Zander (Max Schneider), Nelson (Noah Crawford), and Kevin (Christopher O'Neal). The band soon renames itself Gravity 5.
Their success creates a rivalry with Kacey's old group, The Perfs. This rival band includes her former friends and now rivals, Molly (Samantha Boscarino) and Grace (Halston Sage).
