Todd Joseph "T.J." Miller (born June 4, 1981) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is known for playing funny characters in movies and TV shows.
You might know him as Erlich Bachman in the HBO comedy show Silicon Valley from 2014 to 2017. He also played the character Weasel in the superhero movie Deadpool (2016) and its sequel, Deadpool 2 (2018).
Miller has also been in many other movies. He appeared in action films like Unstoppable (2010), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), and Ready Player One (2018). He is also famous for his voice acting. He voiced Tuffnut in the How to Train Your Dragon movies and Fred in Big Hero 6 (2014).

Early Life and School
T.J. Miller was born in Denver, Colorado. His mother, Leslie, was a clinical psychologist, and his father, Kent, was an attorney. He went to East High School in Denver, where he enjoyed being in school plays.
In 2003, Miller graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.. He earned a degree in psychology. While in college, he was part of a comedy group called Recess. He also studied circus arts in Paris and Shakespeare in London for a summer.
Career
Stand-up Comedy
After finishing college, Miller moved to Chicago to start his comedy career. He performed stand-up comedy and worked with famous comedy groups like The Second City. In 2008, Variety magazine named him one of the "10 Comics to Watch."
In 2011, Miller released a comedy special called No Real Reason. He has toured all over the country, performing for large audiences. In 2017, HBO aired his special, T.J. Miller: Meticulously Ridiculous, which was filmed in his hometown of Denver.
Television Roles
Miller has appeared in many television shows. He was a regular guest on the talk show Chelsea Lately. He also starred in the show Carpoolers, which was on ABC.
From 2012 to 2016, he voiced the character Robbie Valentino in the popular Disney cartoon Gravity Falls. He also starred in the HBO show Silicon Valley. For his role, he won a Critics' Choice Television Award in 2015. In May 2017, it was announced that Miller would not be returning for the show's fifth season.
He also voiced a giant blue monster who hosts a talk show in The Gorburger Show. The show aired on Funny or Die, YouTube, and later on Comedy Central.
Movie Career
Miller's first movie was Cloverfield in 2008. He was only on screen for a short time, but his voice was heard throughout the film. In 2010, he appeared in several movies, including Get Him to the Greek and Unstoppable.
He is well known for voicing Tuffnut Thorston in the popular animated movies How to Train Your Dragon and How to Train Your Dragon 2. He also played Ranger Jones in the movie Yogi Bear (2010).
In 2014, he played Lucas Flannery in Transformers: Age of Extinction. That same year, he voiced the character Fred in the Disney superhero movie Big Hero 6. He then played Weasel in the hit movie Deadpool and its sequel. In 2017, he was the voice of the main character, Gene, in The Emoji Movie. In 2018, he played i-R0k in the Steven Spielberg film Ready Player One.
Personal Life
In 2014, Miller got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Kate Gorney. She is an actress and artist. They were married at the Denver Botanic Gardens on September 6, 2015.
In 2011, Miller shared that he had surgery on his brain. The surgery was successful and helped him recover from a health problem he had been born with.
