How to Train Your Dragon is an exciting action-adventure game. It is based on the popular How to Train Your Dragon movie. The game was made by Etranges Libellules and Griptonite Games. Activision released it on March 23, 2010. You can play it on Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo DS. In the game, you get to create your own dragon. Game Story and How to Play
The game's story happens one year after the movie ends. The Viking tribe is celebrating their victory over the Red Death. They have a big festival called "Thor'sday Thursday." During this festival, Vikings always hold a special dragon tournament. All the teenagers are encouraged to join with their trained dragons.
You can play as either Hiccup or Astrid, who are the main human characters from the movie. Before you enter the main tournament, you need to train your dragon. You will use special training grounds to get your dragon ready for fights.
Dragon Training and Customization
Once you are in the tournament, your goal is to defeat all your opponents. You will eventually face Snotlout Jorgenson. If you win, you become the dragon-taming champion!
You can also create and customize your very own dragon. This happens in your dragon den. In the den, you also take care of your dragons. You need to feed them food you find around Berk. Berk is the island where the story takes place.
Exploring the Wild Zone
After some dragon fights, you help Gobber find ingredients. These ingredients are for special dragon food. All the ingredients are located in an area called the Wild Zone.
To get to the Wild Zone, you first help a Viking handyman. You need to find tools from other Vikings around Berk. Once the bridge is fixed, you can enter the Wild Zone. In this area, you can also explore caves. You can play fun mini-games with your dragon too.
Online Features
The game also lets you play with others online. This means you can connect with friends. You can enjoy the game together even if you are not in the same room.
