Hubbell is a small, quiet community in Indiana. It's not a city or town with its own government, but a group of homes and businesses. You can find Hubbell in Owen County, specifically in Jefferson Township. It's also known by another name: Hubbells Station.
This community is located in the southwestern part of Jefferson Township. It sits near the intersection of County Road 750 South and Indiana Highway 157. Hubbell is about 20 miles southwest of Spencer, which is the main city in Owen County. The land here is about 528 feet (161 meters) above sea level.

Hubbell once had its own post office! It opened in 1881. A person named Mary E. Hubbell was in charge of the post office. However, it only stayed open for a short time. The post office closed its doors in 1883.
