Hubble Creek begins its journey just east of Fruitland. Its starting point is at coordinates 37°27′00″N 89°38′11″W. From there, the stream flows south.
Hubble Creek's Path
As it flows south, Hubble Creek goes under I-55 where it meets US Route 61. The stream then runs alongside Route 61 through the town of Jackson. It continues its path south, passing by the communities of Gordonville and Dutchtown.

Hubble Creek eventually meets the Castor River Diversion Channel. This meeting point, or confluence, is located at coordinates 37°14′01″N 89°40′28″W.
Who Was Hubble Creek Named After?
Hubble Creek gets its name from an early settler named Isthamar Hubble. He was a pioneer who made his home near the creek in the late 1790s. Mr. Hubble was also known for owning a mill that operated on Hubble Creek.
