Hugo Rasmussen (born March 22, 1941 – died August 30, 2015) was a super talented Danish musician. He was famous for playing the double-bass and electric bass. Hugo Rasmussen was best known for his album Sweets to the Sweet, which came out in 1978. This album was re-released in 2001, so more people could enjoy his music.

About Hugo Rasmussen
Hugo Rasmussen was one of the most popular bass players in the world. He played on an amazing 800 music albums! He worked with many famous jazz musicians. Some of these included Ben Webster, Dexter Gordon, and Tom Waits.
In 1999, Hugo started his own band called Hugo Rasmussen AllStarz. He played the acoustic bass in this group. Other members included Jakob Dinesen on tenor sax, Kasper Trandberg on cornet, Andrew Hyhne on trombone, Heine Hansen on piano, and Kresten Osgood on drums. Hugo Rasmussen passed away at the age of 74.
