This cool building is located right in downtown Eugene. You can find it on Willamette Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues. It was built in 1982. The people of Eugene voted in 1978 to use money to build it. The Hult Center was part of a big project to make the downtown area even better.
The City of Eugene owns and runs the Hult Center. It's one of two places for performing arts that the city owns. The other is the Cuthbert Amphitheater. It's an outdoor venue in Alton Baker Park.
Many different companies wanted to design the Hult Center. In the end, a company from New York called Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates got the job. They were known for designing other big concert halls.
