Richard Hugh "Huw" Lloyd-Langton (born February 6, 1951 – died December 6, 2012) was an English musician. He was a talented guitarist, most famous for playing with the rock band Hawkwind. He also led his own band, The Lloyd Langton Group.

Huw Lloyd-Langton was born in Harlesden, a part of London, England. He became known for his unique guitar playing style.
His Musical Journey
Huw joined the band Hawkwind early in his career. He played guitar on their very first album, which was also called Hawkwind. After this, he left the band for a while.
During the 1970s, Huw played guitar for other bands like Widowmaker and Budgie. He also worked with the singer Leo Sayer.
In 1979, Huw rejoined Hawkwind. He played on their live album Live Seventy Nine and their studio album Levitation. He continued to perform with Hawkwind until 1988.
Later Years and Health
After 1988, Huw would sometimes join Hawkwind for special guest appearances. He even rejoined them for a short time in 2001 and 2002. However, he had to leave again due to health problems.
Even with his health challenges, Huw often played solo acoustic shows. He would sometimes open for Hawkwind or play at charity events. He was known for his dedication to music.
Huw Lloyd-Langton passed away at his home on December 6, 2012, at the age of 61. He had been battling cancer for two years. His last recording with Hawkwind was a new version of the song "Master of the Universe" for their album Spacehawks.
