I Shardana is an Italian opera that tells a story through music and singing. It was created by a composer named Ennio Porrino, who wrote both the music and the story, which is called a libretto. This opera was first performed in Naples, Italy, on March 8, 1959. It is the most famous work by Porrino and has recently become popular again, being "rediscovered" by many.
