The ride was planned to open in the spring of 2020, but its opening was delayed because of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, which was a big health situation around the world.

How it Started
In September 2019, SeaWorld Orlando announced the name of their new roller coaster: Ice Breaker. Later that year, in November 2019, SeaWorld Orlando showed off the special trains for the ride. This happened at a big event called the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Exposition. It was exciting for everyone to see what the trains would look like!
Finishing the Track
By February 2020, all the track pieces for Ice Breaker were put together. This meant the main structure of the roller coaster was complete. Even though the track was finished, the ride still needed more work before it could open to guests.
