Ida Tin (born 28 May 1979) is a Danish internet entrepreneur and author. She is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Clue, a popular mobile app that helps women track their menstrual cycles. Before Clue: Motorcycle Tours
Before she started the Clue app, Ida Tin ran a motorcycle tour company. She worked with her father for five years. They led tours to many exciting places around the world. These included countries like Vietnam, the United States, Cuba, Chile, and Mongolia.
After her adventures, Ida wrote a book about her experiences. The book was called Direktøs. It became a very popular book in Denmark.
Creating the Clue App
Ida Tin first thought about making an app to track menstrual cycles in 2009. She wanted a simple way to understand her own body and fertility.
In 2013, Ida Tin turned her idea into reality. She co-founded the Clue app in Berlin, Germany. She worked with Hans Raffauf, Moritz von Buttlar, and Mike LaVigne to create it.
Clue's Growth and Success
By the middle of 2015, the Clue app had about 1 million people using it actively. This showed that many people found the app helpful.
In October 2015, the company got $7 million in funding. This money helped Clue grow even more. By November of that year, the number of active users had grown to 2 million. These users were from over 180 different countries around the world.

Clue's Continued Development
In September 2016, Ida Tin spoke at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco. She talked about how data and technology can help women's health.
A couple of months later, Clue received another $20 million in funding. This helped the company add new features to the app. In 2016 and 2017, Ida helped introduce features like cycle-sharing and pill-tracking. In 2017, she also announced that Clue was working on features for users going through menopause. By 2018, Clue had grown to 10 million users in 190 countries.

Ida Tin lives in Berlin, Germany. She has two children, Elliot and Eleanor, with her ex-partner Hans Raffauf. Hans Raffauf was also one of the co-founders of the Clue app.
