Early Life and Education
Ignacio Rodes began playing the guitar when he was just 8 years old. His first teacher was his own mother! Later, he studied at the Conservatory of Alicante. There, he learned from a famous guitarist named José Tomás from 1983 to 1986. He even won a special scholarship to continue his studies in London.
Today, Ignacio Rodes is a professor at the Conservatory of Alicante. He also leads the Guitar Master's program at the University of Alicante.
