Ignacio Solozábal, often called Nacho Solozábal, is a famous Spanish basketball player who has now retired. He was born in Barcelona, Spain, on January 6, 1959. Standing at about 1.85 meters (6 feet 1 inch) tall, he played as a point guard. This position is like the team's leader on the court, guiding the offense.

Nacho Solozábal is considered one of the best Spanish basketball players ever. His jersey number 7 was retired by FC Barcelona on October 8, 2006. This means no other player on that team will wear his number, showing how important he was to the club.

Playing for FC Barcelona

Nacho Solozábal spent his entire professional basketball career with one team: FC Barcelona. He played for them from 1979 until 1992. This is a very long time to play for just one club!
