Ilze Jaunalksne-Rēdere was born on November 19, 1976, in Jūrmala, Latvia. She is a well-known Latvian journalist. Since 2008, she has been the author and host of the TV show Nekā personīga (which means "Nothing Personal") on TV3 Latvia. Before that, from 2005 to 2008, she hosted a show called De Facto on Latvian Television (LTV1).

In March 2006, while working on De Facto, Ilze Jaunalksne reported a big story. She revealed that some political leaders were involved in buying votes. This means they were trying to unfairly influence elections. Her reporting was very important.
Because of her work, a government minister had to resign. Also, some high-ranking political figures faced serious charges. This showed how powerful good journalism can be.

Awards and Recognition
In 2007, Ilze Jaunalksne received the International Women of Courage award. This award honors women around the world who show great bravery. She could not attend the ceremony because she was about to have a baby.
In 2019, Ilze Jaunalksne married Gundars Rēders, who is also a journalist. In 2021, she received another special honor. She was given the Order of the Three Stars 4th Class. This is a high award in Latvia for people who have done great things for their country.
