Incahuasi is a mountain located in the Andes mountains of Peru. Its name comes from the Quechua language. Inka means "Inca" and wasi means "house," so Incahuasi means "Inca house." This mountain reaches a height of 4,315 meters (about 14,157 feet) above sea level.

Incahuasi is found in the Apurímac Region of Peru. It is part of the Vilcabamba mountain range. The mountain sits right next to the Apurímac River. Across the river, you can see the famous ancient Inca site of Choquequirao.

Archaeological Sites and Views

Incahuasi is special because of its connection to the ancient Inca civilization. On the northern side of the mountain, there is a small archaeological site. It is called Inka Raqay. This site shows that Incas once lived or had activities here.
