Indiana Rose Evans (born on July 27, 1990) is an Australian actress. She is famous for her roles in TV shows like Home and Away, where she played Matilda Hunter. She also starred as Bella Hartley in H2O: Just Add Water. Another well-known role was Emmaline Robinson in Blue Lagoon: The Awakening.

Early Life and Interests
Indiana Evans loved performing from a very young age. When she was just five, she would put on shows for her family and friends. This early interest grew as she got older.
At seven, her parents enrolled her in dance classes. She started with ballet, which is a classical dance style. Later, she also learned jazz and tap dancing.
Before becoming a professional actress, Indiana attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. However, she left after only two weeks. She wanted to focus completely on her acting career. She then studied through a special course at home until she was 15 years old.

Joining Home and Away

She played Matilda Hunter, a teenage girl from a wealthy family. Matilda had to move to a caravan park, which is a place where people live in mobile homes. Indiana was nominated for two awards for this role: a Logie Award and an Inside Soap Award.
In April 2008, Indiana decided to leave Home and Away. She had been offered to stay longer but chose to move on. Her last appearance on the show was in July 2008.
Becoming a Mermaid in H2O: Just Add Water
In 2009, Indiana starred in a TV movie called A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne. Later that year, she took over a main role in the children's TV series H2O: Just Add Water. She replaced another actress, Claire Holt.
Indiana played Isabella "Bella" Hartley, who was a mermaid since she was nine years old. Bella was also an aspiring singer. Indiana sang the show's theme song, "No Ordinary Girl." She also performed many other songs featured in the season.
She even released a solo soundtrack album for the series. It was called H2O: Just Add Water and came out in March 2011. The show did not continue for a fourth season.
