Institute is a small place in Door County, Wisconsin. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or a village.
Institute is located along Highway 57. It's part of a larger area known as the Town of Sevastopol. The community got its name because a Roman Catholic boarding school used to be there a long time ago.
Community Buildings
Institute has important buildings for the local area. One of these is the town hall. This is where local government meetings happen.
Sevastopol Town Hall
A new town hall building was completed in 2009. It's located on the south side of Institute. This building is close to the schools in the Sevastopol School District. It's also right next to the Sevastopol Town Park.
