She aimed to go beyond traditional novels and create something called "Digital Hybrid Global Fiction" (Dhyglofiction). To do this, she used new ways of expressing ideas. She also created fake identities, or "alter egos," that acted like real characters. These included a pop star named Galatha and a best-selling writer named Amy Martin.

This unique multimedia novel was launched at public events in Madrid and Barcelona in 2014. Literary critics supported the novel. One critic, José Romero Barea, said that Irene Zoe Alameda "needs to break free of the limitations of the literary tradition."
