Isaac Success's Football Journey
Isaac was born in Benin City, Nigeria. He began his football journey at a local team called BJ Foundation Academy. There, he played a lot and showed great promise.
Starting in Europe: Spain
In November 2013, when Isaac was just 17, he agreed to join the Italian club Udinese. This deal was set to start in January 2014. However, he needed a special work permit to play in Europe. He finally received it in March 2014.
After getting his permit, Isaac joined Granada CF in Spain. He first played for their reserve team, Granada B, which is like a training team for younger players.
On August 31, 2014, Isaac made his first appearance for Granada's main team. He was only 18 years and seven months old. This made him the youngest player ever to play a La Liga match for Granada. La Liga is the top football league in Spain.
He scored his first professional goal on December 7, 2014, in a match against Valencia CF. In August 2015, Isaac signed a new contract with Granada until 2019. He was then officially promoted to the main squad.
Playing in England: Watford
On July 1, 2016, Isaac moved to England to play for Watford. He signed a five-year deal. This was a big transfer for Watford, costing around £12.5 million.
In his first season (2016–17), he scored one goal in 19 games. During the 2017–18 season, after playing just one game for Watford, he went on loan to Málaga CF in Spain on January 31, 2018. A loan means he played for Málaga for a short time before returning to Watford.
Return to Italy: Udinese
On August 26, 2021, Isaac returned to Italy and signed a three-year deal with Udinese. This was the same club he had agreed to join back in 2013.
His contract with Udinese ended on August 27, 2024, by agreement between him and the club.
Playing for Nigeria
Isaac has also played for his home country, Nigeria, at different levels.
Youth Teams

He also played for the Nigeria Under-20 team.
Senior National Team
In October 2016, Isaac received his first call-up to the senior Nigeria side. This was for a qualifying match for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
